More Than Boxing – Building Stronger Futures
At St Simon’s Boxing Club, part of St Simon’s Church in Shepherd’s Bush, we are more than just a boxing club — we are a community committed to sharing God’s love, serving our neighbours, and helping young people build positive futures.
Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where young people can develop not only their boxing skills and physical fitness but also the discipline, respect, resilience, and self-belief needed to succeed in life. Inspired by the values of St Simon’s Church, we seek to reflect God’s care for every person by welcoming, encouraging, and supporting people from all backgrounds.
Through boxing, fitness, mentorship, prayer, and community engagement, we aim to give young people a positive focus, encourage healthy lifestyles, and help them make constructive choices. We believe that sport can be a powerful expression of God’s work in the community — bringing people together, building character, restoring hope, and creating opportunities for young people to realise their potential.
Whether someone is stepping into a boxing gym for the first time, looking to improve their fitness, or aspiring to compete, we welcome everyone who is willing to learn, work hard, and grow. Alongside training, we aim to offer encouragement, guidance, and a sense of belonging, helping each person understand their value and potential.
Our goal is simple: to use boxing as a tool for positive change and community transformation. We want to empower the next generation, strengthen our community, and help young people build a brighter future — both inside and outside the ring. Through the club, we hope to be part of God’s work in Shepherd’s Bush: supporting families, nurturing young people, and creating a place where lives can be strengthened and renewed.
At St Simon’s Boxing Club, we don’t just develop boxers; we develop confidence, character, faith, and champions for life.
One community. One team. One positive future.
